WP3874 - Public Open Spaces Advertising Service - AWARD

Walsall Council has successfully used an Agency (the "Provider") in the past to provide advertising services on roundabouts across the Borough of Walsall.

The Council are now seeking to contract with a high quality, best value, Provider for the provision of advertising services.

In addition to the advertising services on the roundabouts signage, the Council are looking to expand the scope of the advertising contract to possibly include, (but not limited to) litter bins in high footfall areas throughout the town and the Borough.

The Council would ideally like a Provider that is able to manage both these advertising initiatives.

The Council currently have 45 roundabouts across the Borough with an average of four (4) signs on each roundabout. See Schedule 4 for further details of the relevant Locations.

The Council has an Advertising and Sponsorship policy in place which clearly states specific industry sectors that it cannot advertise, and the Council will requires the successful Provider to adhere to this policy on its behalf at all times.
