Social Rent top up - External Solicitors

WMCA is seeking legal support to develop a specimen grant funding agreement for a new housing initiative funded by the remaining £129.65 million balance of the Brownfield Grant Fund, originally secured between 2019 and 2023 under the new "Housing, Property and Regeneration Investment" Programme Business Case.

The project aims to convert affordable rent homes already in delivery to social rent by providing a WMCA funded grant top up. This approach focuses on changing tenure rather than funding new developments.
