## Description

Islington Parks Department carried out a procurement exercise for a contractor to build improvements at Fortune Street Park, EC1, focusing on play and hard and soft landscaping\. The park is incredibly well-used, serving both Islington and City of London residents and park users and hasn't had any investment in 20 years\. The works will include refurbishing and replacing play equipment and surfacing, upgrading and providing more seating and implementing an extensive planting programme alongside turf improvements\.
