Description

The Dame Barbara Windsor Dementia Goals initiative (BARARA) exists to deliver the government's ambitions set out in the 10 Year Health Plan and Life Sciences Sector Plan, to realise a new generation of precision dementia therapies and solutions for the UK - by accelerating innovations in biomarkers, clinical trials and implementation; working across the dementia research ecosystem. The Neurodegeneration Initiative is uniquely placed to design and deliver an Expression of Interest (EoI) process s to test the feasibility of BARBARA as a federated national platform connecting existing dementia and non-dementia cohorts, and to generate evidence to inform future national scale-up.
