## Description

Knowsley seek to commission a service to deliver a range of support interventions, through the use of volunteers, to combat some of these negative outcomes\. As a minimum, this service should provide: 1\. Hosting for children in a volunteer's home - short, safe hosting for one or more children from an individual family to provide respite and support to both the parents and children\. 2\. Befriending - volunteer mentors to provide emotional and practical support to families to help affect positive change and address issues associated with parental isolation, mental health issues and parenting capacity\. • 3\. Resource support - support in the form of practical help \(cleaning, gardening, etc\.\) as well as practical resources \(e\.g\., clothing, furniture\) that the family may need\.
