ERDF Procurement of Scanning Electron Microscope, Sputter Coater and Associated Materials Preparation

The University of Derby is contributing to the delivery of an ERDF project in the East Midlands region, specifically Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (D2N2) area. The project is intended to support SMEs with innovation, allowing access to consultancy and equipment to enable them to try out new technologies potentially leading to new products and ultimately supporting regional growth. The purpose of this tender is to contribute to the Scanning Electron Microscope capabilities that can be offered to SMEs accessing the Enabling Innovation project through the University of Derby. There is an intention to provide the latest and most flexible capability that can be made accessible to SMEs. This specification relates to procurement of a Bench Top Scanning Electron Microscope with a Back Scatter Detector, Gold Sputter Coater and Accessories Pack.

Suppliers will be shortlisted (a maximum of 3) to present their machine and system capability to the project team at Derby. Date to be advised following shortlist.
