Description
Each year, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recruitment team undertake regular campaigns to recruit Band 4 (HEO) trainee Inspectors. These campaigns are critical to support the ongoing workforce requirements of HSE. The campaigns attract a high volume of applicants and require a large volume of work to complete the required assessments, which exceeds the resource capacity held within the team. The support of external agencies has, and continues to be, required to successfully run the campaign. The support of an external agency is required to assess candidate suitability for the advertised role against pre-determined criteria. A platform for candidates to access and complete written assessments is required, along with the assessment of those exercises. Provision of actors to carry out role play assessments will also be required, with the ability to provide cover for unexpected absence of an actor at short notice should it be required. The services will need to be delivered to an agreed timetable to meet the overall recruitment schedule of the campaign.
