A56 Prestwich High Street

The works will involve widening of footways, alteration of existing kerb lines to provide parking bays, build outs and bus lay-bys. Footways are to be reconstructed and the carriageway is to be resurfaced. The value of this work is expected to exceed £1.0million and is part of the regeneration of Prestwich town centre. It is anticipated that proposed construction will start on site January 2017.
