Description
The Department for Energy Security & Net Zero is seeking a Surge Partner to bring its resource and expertise in policy development and service design and industry knowledge to support and enhance the Net Zero Buildings and Industry team where there are capacity or capability challenges. The purpose of the procurement is to secure a single Supplier that is able to provide a team of individuals that can support in the following roles: 1. policy developers, 2. project delivery professionals, 3. economic analysts 4. digital specialists including user research service design and technical architecture The required resources serve: to bridge gaps in a growing team while permanent recruitment is conducted. to provide short term specialist resource for policy and technical development with sectoral expertise in energy and energy efficiency industry, experience in the design and development of sector interventions and project management. The role of the successful Suppliers team would be to: Supplement existing teams to pursue policy development, analysis, project delivery and digi-tal delivery to support work to deliver 15% demand reduction in domestic, commercial and in-dustrial buildings. Be able to roll on and off projects at short notice Able to mobilise and get up to speed quickly Experienced at working within a Government context, including with senior officials It would be helpful individuals are able to demonstrate knowledge of working on the Net Zero agenda and in particular on matters pertaining to Energy Efficiency and Clean Heat in a variety of buildings settings.
