Contractors are invited to tender for the play area safety surfacing to a total budget of £40,000 \(ex VAT\)\. The budget must not be exceeded\. REQUIREMENTS: The works will include: The following is a summary of the mandatory requirements: • Remove all faulty safety surfacing as indicated on Location Plan - estimate of approx\. 380sqm and remove to licenced facility\. • Regulate sub-base, supply and lay new wetpour safety surfacing to meet safety standards \(BS EN1177\)\. Note: colour is preferred, please state if black is only within budget\. • Please see section D6 for specification\. • Warranties/guarantees for the safety surfacing must be provided\. • Post installation inspection must take place before opening to the public\.
