Stakeholder consultation on proposals for the renewal of property licensing designations in Newham 2021. The aims of the consultation are therefore as follows:- To comply with the Council's statutory duties in relation to the proposed discretionary licensing process. To give a detailed explanation of any proposed designations, explain the reasons for the designations, how it will tackle specific problems, any potential benefits and to allow for intelligent consideration and response. The need for any proposed designations. Put forward alternatives to any proposed designations and any advantages and disadvantages. Present the Councils preferred choice and the reasons for its preference. Outline who will be affected by any new designations. Outline the impact of any new designations. Gather views and opinions to inform and shape the possible 3rd generation of PRS licensing proposals including - Fee levels - Incentives and support for landlords and private tenants - Conditions - Geographical area to be covered
