Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) - Salisbury Plain SSSI

Description

The BBS is needed to inform the condition status of this notified feature across the SSSI/SPA. It is also needed in particular to show how key bird species are faring across this site, especially in respect of Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and Agri-environment schemes scrub management and grazing programmes. This will allow Natural England and DIO to understand how current management is affecting the bird species listed in the assemblage and whether changes to management need to be considered.
