GB-Leeds: R/3495b- Opener, Card, Cross-lapper and Needleloom system

The University of Leeds is seeking tenders for a Laboratory Opening Machine and a Laboratory Carding Machine, Cross-lapper and Needle-punching system with control/operating system.

A drylaid web formation and needlepunching system is required suitable for research and development purposes, consisting of a standalone fibre opener, and fully integrated hopper feed, worker-stripper card, crosslapper, needleloom and winder unit. The units should be fully guarded for safety purposes.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
