## Description

West Berkshire Council acting as the Lead Authority for the Berkshire Community Equipment Service \(BCES\) Partnership is seeking interest from providers who could provide a Community Equipment Service to cover the population of Berkshire \(estimated 909,200 by 2017\)\.The current service handles work to a value of approximately GBP 12million per annum\. The anticipated gross value of the service for the initial contract period of 5 years is GBP 60million \(GBP 12million per annum\) but it is anticipated that effective recycling of equipment by the Service Provider and BCES partners will result in a net spend of GBP 30million over the initial contract period\.
