GDA Assessment Review of the AP1000 ASME III Class 1 Piping Fatigue Analyses

Description

The desired outcome is an independent review of the RP’s methodologies and fatigue analyses for a selection of the ASME III Class 1 pipework for the UK AP1000. This will include the pressuriser surge line, and so guide ONR in its assessment of the GDA Step 4 close-out submissions for the UK AP1000. The work will also inform future licensing activities relating to the design and inspection of ASME III Class 1 piping systems.
