## Description

The Authority is seeking the services of an architectural designer to provide a design team to develop the initial design proposals for the lighthouse and former keeper's cottages on St Mary's island at Whitley Bay to RIBA work stage 3 \(phase 1\), with progression to RIBA work stages 4 - 7 \(phase 2\)\. Phase 2 will only proceed if the Authority are successful in obtaining Heritage Lottery Funding stage 2 bid\. The Authority reserves the right not to proceed with phase 2 subject to the outcome of the stage 2 Heritage Lottery Bid\.
