Strategic Environmental Assessment

The purpose of this report (strategic environmental assessment/ sustainability assessment) is to provide a high-level overview of the potential environmental effects along with recommendations and guidance for the development of the Geo-Resource sector in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (CIoS). For the purposes of this report the Tungsten West mine on the Cornwall Devon border should be included as should any adjacent marine environments where an operator (e.g. Dean Quarry or Imerys or others with concessions) will remove gabbro by ship.
