GB-Edinburgh: Nickel Metal Hydride Battery Packs

The provision of Industrial Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries for Installation at a number of offshore Buoys and Lighthouses for use with Solar System, and as standby at mains powered sites.

Solar specified batteries must be suitable for use in solar installations with low rate charging efficiency; with a proven cycling capability. A minimum of 15 years life expectancy is required from all products.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
