## Description

The contract is for an independent audit provider to carry out a mandatory assessment needed as part of the DSP Toolkit annual return for NHS England\. NHS England must arrange for a mandatory external and independent audit of its Toolkit evidence as part of the annual submission\. Internal audit teams are not permitted to complete the audit\. This is an NHS contractual and DHSC policy requirement\. NHSE cannot achieve a satisfactory 'Standard Met' status without the completion of this independent audit within the obligatory deadlines\.
