Description
Bath Spa Univeristy is looking to purchase virtual reality to equip the University with a VR set-up (headsets and computers) for classroom sessions of 40 students. The aim is to create a multifunctional, viable, and versatile VR set-up for students and staff in a university context. We understand that virtual reality is a relatively new and continuously advancing technology that would set realistic targets and goals, measurable in monitoring the successful implementation of the project's goals. We have a fund for £250,00, including VAT. We are initially looking to set this up in the School of Sciences, but we will expand this setup to include all students and staff across the university. The School of Sciences contains four subjects: Psychology, Criminology and Sociology, Biology, and Geography and Environmental Sciences. The university is looking to purchase a virtual reality facility to aid students and enhance the courses that allow them to use the technology to further student studies. The equipment should be up to date, with an element of future-proofing, powered by high-end computers with the ability to run the software available in today's markets specific to education and training. We are looking for proposals offering a comprehensive approach, powerful capabilities, flexibility, ease of use, and support.
