Paddling Pool Operational Services Measured Term Contract 2022-25

Description

Tenders are invited for the supply of Paddling Pool operational services in respect of the seasonal Council owned paddling pools located at Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea as identified herein. This procedure is being conducted in accordance with the Council's Contract and Procurement Procedure Rules utilising the Invitation to Tender Procedure. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing the required services, liaising closely with the Customer's Contract Manager. The Paddling Pools are seasonally open to the public from Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May through to the end of September. However, there is a requirement to commission prior to operation and decommission at the end of the season, i.e. initial filling, drain down, cleaning, minor maintenance etc. The paddling pools are located at the three major coastal resorts within East Lindsey and consequently experience a significant increase in footfall during Summer months. Their official opening hours to the public during the season are from 09:00hrs - 17:00hrs seven days per week Mon- Sun. The locations of the paddling pool sites are listed below: • Skegness - Fairy Dell Paddling Pool; • Mablethorpe - Queens Park Paddling Pool; • Sutton on Sea - Maple Leaf Paddling Pool. The Contract will be initially let for a period of 3 years commencing on 9th May 2022 plus potentially a further 2 extensions of 1 year subject to agreement and satisfactory performance. It is intended that the tender exercise follows the time-line detailed below: 1 Invitation to Tender Issued 21st January 2022 2 Deadline for Questions 25th February 2022 3 Deadline for Bids 4th March 2022 at 12.00 noon 4 Evaluation 7th March - 11th March 2022 5 Supplier Project Meeting 16th March 2022 6 Contract Award 1st April 2022 7 Contract Start 9th May 2022 (in readiness for paddling pools being open to the public ready for Spring Bank Holiday from Friday 27th May 2022)
