Northern has 10 class 158/9s that based on the time between overhaul \(8 years\) need to go through a C6 overhaul line with Northern's & Eversholt specification document "EV/VI1586 Issue 3"\. The requirement is that each of the 10 units has been through the C6 overhaul programme before the current C6 expires as per the below dates; Unit No Exam Due Date U158910 C6 03/09/2024 U158907 C6 23/09/2024 U158906 C6 14/10/2024 U158901 C6 04/11/2024 U158905 C6 25/11/2024 U158902 C6 16/12/2024 U158903 C6 20/01/2025 U158909 C6 03/02/2025 U158904 C6 02/03/2025 U158908 C6 29/03/2025 The C6 focus' on; AIR SYSTEM \(Excluding brake equipment\)/ BRAKES - AIR/VACUUM/ BODYWORK \(Excluding interior trim\)/ BATTERY/CONTROL SYSTEMS/ FLOORING/ HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING/ INTERIOR TRIM /FITTINGS/ FUEL SYSTEMS/ DOORS/ UNDERFRAME/ VEHICLE ACTIVITIES/ WATER & TOILET SYSTEMS \(excluding Catering\)\. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises \(SMEs\)\.
