Surgical Face Masks Type IIR (the “Facemasks”) for the Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Programme (“PIPP”)

‘NHSBSA wishes to procure for the benefit of Public Health England and the UK Devolved Administrations(Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland) in the region of 236 000 000 Face Masks (which form part of a suite of products procured under separate Framework Agreements) to be distributed in the event of a pandemic Influenza or any other health related emergency across the UK. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 5 900 000 GBP to 8 260 000 GBP excluding VAT.However this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodiespurchasing under the Framework Agreement’. Estimated cost excluding VAT: Range: between 23 600 000 and 33 040 000 GBP
