2021-160 Ofgem Increased Coordination of Offshore Transmission

Description

This procurement is for delivery of qualitative analysis which supports Ofgem decision making on offshore transmission. In July 2021, Ofgem published "Consultation on changes intended to bring about greater coordination in the development of offshore energy networks". The consultation closed in September 2021 and the Offshore Coordination team is now working to develop more detailed policy proposals which will be the subject of a future consultation in 2022. As Ofgem works through the consultation responses, additional support is required from external advisors to help develop policy proposals further.
