16/03 Employer's Agent Services - AWARD

Tamworth Borough Council seeks to appoint an employer's agent to undertake the redevelopment of two sites. Following an extensive programme of technical investigation and consultation, outline planning permission was obtained for both sites in 2015. The outline planning permissions approve the delivery of 108 dwelling units for one site and the delivery of 44 dwellings and a Class A1 convenience retail store for the other. The Council’s programme requires all relevant permissions and agreements to be in place to enable construction to commence in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Completion of all works is required by 2019. The successful contractor will work with the Council’s in-house project manager to deliver a quality scheme on time and within budget.
