THRE0082 - International Rail Depot Feasibility and Design Study

Description

The DfT envisages inviting submissions for a competitive tender process for advisory, feasibility and detailed design services. This work follows the completion of feasibility studies examining site options for a potential new rail maintenance depot and stabling on the HS1 route for international high-speed rail passenger services. Two leading site options have been identified for further work, including the potential for a mixed-use international and domestic site, on which detailed technical feasibility and design work is required.
