Tree Maintenance Services

Description

West Lancashire Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from applicants who are interested in providing Tree Maintenance Services for the Borough. The type of work the Council will be seeking is works to Trees in public areas and will include General Tree Pruning Crown Raising and Reductions Tree clearance/ Thinning Removal of trees in a controlled manner in plantations. Stump Grinding/ Treatment Any other Tree Maintenance Service The Contractor will also be expected to provide a 24 hour emergency call-out service for the removal of dangerous and unsafe trees and branches. The above list is not intended to be a complete list of all of the elements of tree work that may be contained in the Contract Works but merely a guide to tenderers of the general scope of the tree work required. Tree work will take place over the whole Borough but the majority will be carried out in Skelmersdale. The contract period will be 3 years with an option to extend by up to 2 years.
