## Description

Mid Essex Heath Trust have recently completed the installation of a state of the art of HSDU facility in the old medical records building at Broomfield Hospital\. The project included full refurbishment of existing facility to include; external cladding repairs, new steelwork, partitions, doors & ceilings\. Hygenic finishes wall cladding and vinyl flooring\. Full Mechanical and Electrical plant and installations including; New AHUs, chillers, RO, water tanks, controls, lighting, fire alarms, power, HV & LV cabling\. The installation contains, full process services, 7 No\. new 15 Din washers and 4 No\. sterilisers, all associated steam and above & below quad drainage including holding tank and pump set\. Full FF&E package & stainless steel equipment, full track and trace and IT infrastructure & data\. \. Following practical completion MEHT are looking to appoint a Contractor to carry out Engineering Facilities Management and Maintenance on the HSDU installation, this incorporates all the above areas including plant and equipment provided by third party suppliers\. The Contractor will be responsible for the management of the HSDU engineering services; Hard FM with planned preventative maintenance and reactive engineering as required to maintain business continuity The contract will be a three year contract with the option to extend for a further two years on a 1 \+1 basis\.
