## Description

This service specification sets out an opportunity to undertake a Pilot that focuses on Mental health in the work place\. ECC, in partnership with the CCGs, has a good track record of getting people in to the workplace\. However, this has highlighted a need for support in job retention either following an individual successfully gaining employment or where their existing employment is breaking down due to their mental health\. Job retention is a key early intervention and can help avoid crisis for the individual\. This Pilot targets support for employers, rather than individuals\. The concept is for the successful supplier/s to develop a case load of employers \(rather than individuals\), offer a programme of support to the employers to improve their awareness of mental health and how they can best to support their employees in the workplace\.
