## Description

The objectives of this project are to: - Review and stocktake approaches to the design, implementation and evaluation of counterfactual scenarios focussed on AES interventions in the conservation and enhancement of landscape character\. - Make best use of the existing body of landscape monitoring and field survey data, and potentially include supplementary capture of new quantitative and/or qualitative data using appropriate techniques\. - Develop and implement an appropriate strategy and test methods \(which can be adapted for future use\) to then investigate and evaluate a set of updated counterfactual scenarios \(or hypotheses, as used in BD5303\) agreed with Natural England\.
