Sciences at the Court of Versailles Book - AWARD

The Science Museum Group is seeking a publishing partner to project manage, design, print, and assist in distributing Sciences at the Court of Versailles [working title]. This book will be published to coincide with the exhibition of the same title due to open at the Science Museum in December 2024. Rather than a comprehensive catalogue, it is intended as a richly illustrated book of highlights, celebrating beautiful, rare and prestigious objects that will be featured in the exhibition. As such, it will consist of a curator's note, an introduction exploring the different facets of science and power at Versailles between the 1660s and the French revolution in 1789, followed by 16 to 18 'in focus' short chapters spanning the different themes and periods of the exhibition, each dedicated to one key object.
