## Description

The Department for Transport will be running a new £168m capital funding competition to help accelerate the development of advanced fuel plants in the UK\. This is expected to be open for applications from April 2022\. As with the previous low carbon fuels industry support competitions, the monitoring of winning projects will be required from the competition's launch \(expected in April 2022\) through to its expected close on March 31st 2025, conducted by a private sector "Delivery Partner"\.
