GBC - Maintenance and Repair of Domestic Air Source Heat Pump Systems (ASHP) and Design, Supply and Installation of New Systems

Guildford Borough Council is seeking to appoint a term Contractor to undertake the following activities: Carry out an annual planned maintenance visit on Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems already installed and those installed under this contract. Planned maintenance shall be in accordance with the manufacturers requirements to maintain the 5-year warranty and efficient operation. Payment for planned maintenance will be SOR/per visit. The number of ASHP systems installed to date is 154.

Carryout all breakdown repairs both during normal working hours and call-out repairs outside of normal working hours on ASHP systems and constituent parts. Payment for breakdown repairs will be Prime Cost calculation.

1.3 Completion of the ASHP programme for replacement of Council owned dwellings with aged electric storage heaters. Payment for new installations will be SOR/measured. The projected number of dwellings is as follows:

2021/2 - 60 dwellings 2022/3 - 60 dwellings

1.4 The installation of ASHP's on a 'one-off basis' in Council owned dwellings generally but not limited to void dwellings replacing aged electric storage heaters. Payment for new 'one-off' installations will be SOR/measured.
