038/2016 Graduation Ceremonies Security

The Corporate Relation Department of the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) requires security and event support for the UWE Graduation Award Ceremonies. To express Interest please register on the HE In-Tend Portal: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/he/aspx/Home

The University holds two sessions of the Awards Ceremonies during the year. These currently take place in the latter half of July (3 one-hour ceremonies per day) for approximately 10 days and 5 days at the end of November.

Approximately 5,000 students graduate in July and another 2,000 in November.

The ceremonies take place in Bristol Cathedral currently, a prominent venue in the City Centre of Bristol. The venue address is Bristol Cathedral, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TJ. It is possible that the location of future graduation award ceremonies may change during the life of this contract.

Celebratory refreshments and cakes are served in the marquee alongside the graduation suppliers of university memorabilia.

There are also two ceremony days at Gloucester Cathedral in October.
