TC063 HIGH SPEED ROAD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT & VERGE MAINTENANCE SERVICES

The Borough Council of Bolton (the “Authority”) is looking for a suitable contractor to provide grass cutting, hedge cutting, litter/fly tip removal and herbicide application together with appropriate traffic management controls on highways that the Authority class as high speed roads within the borough (the “Services”).

The tender does not include channel and pavement sweeping services which will be provided by the Authority’s in-house service. However, the Tenderers must be aware that sweeping operations will be carried out in conjunction with the services required from the successful Tenderer.

The Authority needs to ensure competitive pricing coupled with a quality service delivery. To achieve this the Authority is looking for an organisation who it can work with to maximise safety and efficiency, and advise on the most effective ways of working on high speed roads.
