Work description
The overarching research package will assess the viability of multiple offers across Countryside Stewardship Plus and the Sustainable Farming Incentive. This assessment will include: • The environmental considerations of carrying out multiple standards on the same land. • The logistical requirements for carrying out those standards together. • The legal and/or regulatory constraints which could prevent these standards from being carried out together. • The user needs - e.g., to what extent are farmers and landowners likely to engage in stacking certain standards together? What does/would motivate farmers and land managers to stack certain standards together? What are the intervention points where interventions could be targeted to help leverage these motivations?
