Work description
NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a non-exclusive framework agreement for supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stock /Blue Diamond routes and to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the E-Direct Routes for the supply of extension sets and lines including micro, narrow and wide bore sets. Extension sets are used to deliver intravenous fluids and medication. Extension sets can be used with a syringe pump, for providing an access point for injection by syringe, to extend a giving set, to complete the connection from a fluid or blood warmer to the patient.
It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement the value of purchases will be in the region of 20 000 000 GBP to 30 000 000 GBP. For the full 48 months term (if extended) the anticipated value is between 40 000 000 GBP and 60 000 000 GBP. However these figures are approximate only. The figures for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure and include a forecast for growth.
