GB-London: Southmere Watersports & Activity Centre and Birchmere Outdoor Swimming (Thamesmead, London)

Description

Peabody Trust ("Peabody") is seeking to appoint an experienced operator to lease the Southmere Watersports & Activity Centre and activate Southmere Lake and Park with boating and other associated activities and Birchmere Lake with Outdoor Swimming. Peabody is seeking an organisation who can balance the needs and interests of local residents, schools and groups as well as encouraging people to travel to the area and help put Thamesmead on the map. This invitation to quote is an open and inclusive opportunity for all interested parties, and we extend a special invitation to SMEs to participate. There is no predefined contract duration specified in this procurement. The contract duration will be determined through negotiations with the selected bidder, allowing for a flexible and mutually agreed-upon arrangement that aligns with the needs of the project. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
