Description

We are looking for a Supplier to undertake effective advertising, search and selection processes and present a high quality and diverse field of suitable candidates for a Senior Director Customers & Casework and Senior Director Business Improvement. At all stages of long listing, short listing and appointable candidates we would expect to see diversity suitably represented. The appointed Supplier will be required in conjunction with Ofwat to provide Services as set out below. This list is not exclusive and may, subject to discussions. General requirement: • Agree a methodology and timetable for the recruitments of the roles • Operate in line with the Civil Service Recruitment Principles of fair and open competition • Advise on appropriate media for advertising • Draft separate advertisements and candidate briefing packs along the lines of the current role and job profiles application process • Advise on current role and job profiles as required • Advise on and agree selection criteria for the positions • Place adverts for roles • Identify and recommend suitable candidates from existing databases • Conduct a parallel targeted search for the roles and demonstrating Ofwat's policy as an equal opportunities employer by targeting BME, gender, disability etc. • Provide competition diversity information to Ofwat and the Civil Service Commission • Project manage the recruitment and selection processes • Manage applications received through both advertisements and search • Sift applications against agreed selection criteria for the posts • Advise on the most appropriate methods for assessing short-listed candidates against the key criteria and competencies. • Sift applications against agreed selection criteria prior to long-list meeting with the Ofwat team. • Undertake preliminary telephone interviews with sifted candidates. • Provide report(s) on findings and suggested long-lists. • Meet with long-list panels. • Deliver psychometric assessments, reports and debriefing as part of the selection process • Meet with short-list panels. • Manage interview process and prepare candidate interview reports on behalf of the Ofwat selection panels. • Take up references in a timely manner and provide reference reports to Ofwat • Provide support to panel members and give feedback to all candidates • Review the campaign and lessons learned with Ofwat A complete audit trail must be maintained.
