https://www.delta-esourcing.com/respond/DTJ23C38J7 In order to monitor the spatial and temporal behaviour of diadromous fish, Cefas are proposing to develop a programme to tag and monitor the fish migration in the River Tyne. In order to develop a telemetry network in the River Tyne, Cefas have a requirement for the following:

1.30 acoustic receivers operating at 69 kHz. The operating system should be compatible with MAP113 or previous map codes. The receivers will need to include batteries.

2.75 acoustic transmitters to be detected by the above acoustic receivers. Tags should include the option of both a temperature and/or pressure sensor. The tags should have a power output of between 147-153 dB re 1 uPa @ 1m and a life of ~ 2 years. The tags should be no larger than 13mm in diameter. The depth sensor should have a resolution of ~0.15 metres and the temperature sensor ~0.15 °C.
