URGENT REPAIR WORKS TO THE MOATED MANOR AT SCADBURY PARK

Description

The London Borough of Bromley ("the Council") is inviting tenders for the provision of urgent repair works to the Moated Manor at Scadbury Park Scadbury Moated Manor site is located within Scadbury Park Nature Reserve situated in the London Borough Bromley. Part of the site was designated as a Scheduled Monument (list entry number 1409786) in 2013. The scheduled area comprises an island surrounded by a moat, fishponds and, the standing remains on the island. The Orpington and District Archaeological Society (ODAS) hold a Licence from the Council for archaeological work at the manor site (this work is ongoing) and undertake some maintenance work on the vegetation.
