GB-Edinburgh: Cape Wrath Lighthouse Roof Repairs

The principal objective of this project is to stop the water ingress into the quarterdeck (battery rooms) area. The works shall consist of taking down the internal plasterboard ceilings in both battery rooms, which will then be replaced with 12.5mm thick Glasroc F Multiboard, and the application of "Tor Elastaseal Z" System to the quarterdeck room.

The contractor must submit a works programme, at tender stage with proposed start dates for the sequence of works within this project. It is anticipated that the programme of scheduled works for this project will start in January 2024 for a duration of 8 weeks. A more detailed programme of work will be agreed between the NLB and the successful contractor

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
