Work description
Formed in 2014 the North East Combined Authority (NECA) is a legal body that brings together the seven North East Local Authorities: Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland
It has responsibility for strategic transport across all seven local authority areas and works closely with the NELEP to generate economic growth and new investment
The Combined Authority is looking to procure an operator for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of 6 rapid clusters within the NECA area for a 3-year contract.
In order to meet these requirements, the Combined Authority is inviting expressions of interest from eligible contractors able and suitable to undertake these works.
