BEIS requires a range of external market data, insights and briefings for the power sector, to both GB Ireland and Northern Ireland, in order to ensure that we have sufficient market insight to give confident advice to Ministers about how the sector will respond to change, what the market outlook is, and to provide assurance and additional evidence to support assumptions setting within our business critical models\.
