EPNCCCH0621 - Carrow House Refurbishment Project

Dear Contractors Thank you for your interest in the Carrow House site refurbishment project. This opportunity offers Contractors the opportunity to work with Norwich City Council and their Consultants in order to carry out construction and refurbishment works at Carrow House, 301 King Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 2TN. These works are being delivered as part of the East Norwich Masterplan under the Government funded Towns Deal programme. Carrow House consists of two main parts; a 1960's office block (New Carrow House) and Old Carrow House, a historic Grade II listed building, once the Colman family home.

The works to refurbish the Carrow House site are being re-tendered due to the previous tenders being in excess of the available budget.

The re-tendered works package is largely the same, but with a number of works now labelled as 'optional'. This will allow the client to appoint on the 'core' works, and then choose a number of the optional works packages that their budget allows for. There is also the possibility that additional funding will be made available, so that 'optional' works can be added back in as works progress.
