Thurrock Council is seeking to appoint an Employers Agent and Cost Consultant to support its proposal to redevelop a council owned site in Aveley in Essex. Initial feasibility work has shown that the site can support 51 properties (a mix of houses and apartments) with a construction cost of approx £11m.

Currently occupying the site are 36no 2bedroom/4person flats contained within 3 blocks. The existing units have been identified for demolition and redevelopment, with tenants being decanted but with the option to return to the new development.
