Work description
Corserv Ltd on behalf of Cormac Solutions Ltd are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to under take the Rock armour package for the Coverack North Coast Protection scheme.
Scope of Works:
PLEASE REFER TO DOCUMENT TITLED 'Rock armour subcon scope' Supply, deliver and installation of GRANITE rock armour works as shown on the drawings - - Preparatory enabling works to foreshore and mobilisation/demobilisation of ramps/refuge area and compound access - Measurement and recording of rock armour placement to provide measurement data including a final level survey for as-built records - clearance and excavation of rock slope below rock armour, management on site and disposal of arisings including trial panel - preparation of surface to receive rock armour, including application of geotextile - installation of Rock armour (note Rock armour is to be Granite) - Survey and setting out control of rock armour placement process to meet design requirements
2. Please also provide a price for a deliver and install option only based on materials for collection from Cormac's Castle Quarry
Site Specific Details (Incl. Restrictions) Refer to the Scope/ITT document. Marine/Coastal foreshore location with environmental concerns for working in marine environment, geological watching brief, MMO conditions, Planning conditions, buried and overhead services, popular coastal attraction, traffic management issues, temporary works required (by Others) to protect excavated face of higher cliff slope. Specific Works Location Works to foreshore in a popular coastal village
