Bids will be accepted on a cost (Somerset Council retains fare revenue) or subsidy (operator retains fare revenue) basis, please make it clear in your submission which basis you are bidding on, failure to do so will leave the bid invalid. Total patronage between 1st January 2024 and 31st March 2024 was 7290 of which 1262 were concessionary fare passes. Please see attached timetable, Fare chart and map for further details. Monday to Saturday only. No Sundays or Bank Holidays. As part of your bid please provide full details of vehicle capacity, i.e. both seated and standing capacity. Service to begin on 02/09/2024. Contract end date is 05/04/2026. There is no offer for an extension after this date. Tender will close at 12:00 Noon Friday 5th July 2024
