Highways Pant Hire Framework ref: DN365555

Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council intends to create a Highways Plant Hire Framework (HPHF) for the provision of a range of hired plant, manned plant, winter maintenance plant, traffic lights and equipment to allow a range of both revenue and capital highway works. The function of the framework Providers will be to provide the Highway Operations department ad-hoc plant to allow the seasonal work fluctuations and the standard fluctuation in work. This framework is being set up for Oldham Council Highway Operations and all internal departments and any organisation that Oldham Council is associated with. The overall objective of the framework is to support the Council to deliver their revenue and capital programmes. The HPHF is to allow and enhance the highway maintenance function and the winter maintenance function.

The intended make-up of the HPHF is for the creation of circa six individual 'Lots', the 'Lots' will likely cover the following disciplines:

1. Large Plant without Operator 2. Large Plant with Operator 3. Small Plant 4. Traffic Lights 5. Winter Maintenance 6. Skilled Labour
