CEFAS24-113 Contract for carbon analysis (including Rock-Eval) of North Sea (Farnes) and Celtic Sea sediment samples.

Description

Cefas require the Supplier to analyse 453 freeze dried sediment core slice samples from Farnes and Celtic Sea as per below Deliverables. Cefas require the data to be provided in an appropriate format (industry standard Excel spreadsheet). Deliverables: Following analysis completed on all samples: • (TC) Total Carbon • (TOC) Total Organic Carbon • (C/N) Carbon/Nitrogen • Carbon Isotopes • Rock-Eval pyrolysis • Nitrogen Isotopes 1. Full analysis of the listed deliverables completed, and results provided in appropriate format. a. To be delivered by 30th September 2024 with the understanding that an extension will be granted if prepared samples aren't delivered to BGS within 6 weeks of BGS data delivery date. Quantity: 453 samples (Rock Eval), 217 samples (TOC, TC, C/N, d13C, d15N), 33 samples (TOC, TC, C/N, d13C)
